Medical and Corporate Pharma Headshots
We photograph people for their professional portraits or actor headshots and for theater and film and musician headshots in St Louis; both on-location or in my studio. The portraits are commonly used for social media, annual reports, book jackets, readings, comp cards, submission for acting roles for stage productions, film, movie and TV, musical performance newsletters and announcements, websites, brochures and more.
I work exclusively digital using top of the line digital cameras. I photograph digitally using raw format which allows me to capture the most digital information available to me as a photographer. Shadow and highlight detail preserved in ways that cannot be when using jpg or a compressed digital file format.
Often, we are hired as a St Louis event photographer. That is where I am hired to photograph a special corporate or business occurrence like an awards dinner, annual company party, annual conference, ground breakings and more. I work as a photojournalist would, documenting what happens in an unobtrusive style with group shots and detail pictures/signage images mixed in. It is very important to me to not distract from your company’s event as I work to photograph it.
We pride ourselves in not only being a St Louis photographer who delivers great images, but also on being dependable, professional in dress and manor and responsive to all of your photography requests. Written photography estimates or references from past photography clients are always available. I look forward to hearing from you!

Many people seek high quality headshots each year because of the many ways that they can be used in both personal and professional areas of their lives. Headshots are used by business and talent professionals, including executives, actors, actresses, models, and many others who work in professional careers. While corporate headshots are popular, those for the regular population are also becoming more so. Many people are getting professional headshots to use on their social media sites, dating sites, blogs, and other such online mediums.
To dress for a slimming effect, remember: darker colors are slimming; light colors are not. Solid colors are slimming; bold patterns are not. A single color from head to toe (i.e. a suit) is slimming. Vertical lines are slimming; horizontal lines are not. This can apply to pleats as well as prints. The v-neck shape is slimming. This is achieved by the cut of a sport coat, or the v-neck opening in a shirt or sweater. Single-breasted jackets are more slimming than double-breasted. If you’ll be standing for a full-length portrait, high heels are slimming—as are clothes that are well tailored rather than too loose or too tight.

Look for variety! This is the single most important consideration. Your headshot must be unique to you. There’s nothing more disheartening than going to an audition with your brand new headshot, only to see ten other actors with the very same shot! Make sure the photographer you choose features a variety of angles, backgrounds, compositions, poses and expressions on their website. When looking through a photographer’s portfolio, you want each image to surprise you.
Feel comfortable with the photographer. Usually you can get a good idea of their energy through the website, but pick up the phone and give them a call as well. If you feel it’s important, sit down with them for a consultation. If you leave a headshot session wanting to hang out with your photographer, you’ve had a terrific shoot.
Make the investment in professional headshots. If you want to be taken seriously by the industry, the quality of your headshot must project professionalism. If you’re too thrifty, you’ll probably be told to get new headshots once you meet an agent or casting director. If you make the investment initially, you shouldn’t have to do it again until your look changes.
